What is a lambrequin?

Does anyone know what a "rubber sandwich" meant? I have looked and looked on the interwebs, to no avail. If you can tell me, I'd be most delighted!

Say hello to Fluffy! If you feel the need to take him (or her) home, leave me a comment! I'll randomly choose a winner to be announced for the November 22 podcast. So you've got until Thursday November 20th to leave a comment! If you need your own right now, you can visit the maker's Etsy shop. Won't it be cute hanging out in your yarn balls, or being played with by your kids?

- Sewn Bind Off

* One thing I didn't mention about the sewn bind off is that all the directions I've read direct you to use 2x the circumference of the sock. I have found this is not enough, and always use at least 5x the circumference of the sock to bind off. This ensures a nice loose, open hole, which is the whole point of the bind off.

Episode 2 - Part the Second

I must apologize - apparently, I didn't plug in the microphone the entire way (who knew!) and so there are popping noises. The next episode will be better, I promise! (Now that I've finally made the mistakes and gotten it all figured out!) (Oh, how embarrassing, you can hear me clicking away on the mouse the whole time. I swear I was just trying to look up what I was talking about!) The podcast should be showing up in I-tunes soon, and I will let you know when it does!

Episode 1 - The Beginning

When you click on the link "listen to the episode" it'll give you a list of players to choose from, I recommend Real Player, VLC Media Player, or Quick Time. It will take a few minutes to load at the moment, 5-10 depending on how laden your computer is and your internet speed. Just be patient. When it's ready, the player should pop open and it'll either start playing or it'll let you click "play."

(apologies for giggling over my odd pronunciations of Ms. A. Karen Alfke's surname - I am laughing at myself here. I have the tendency to always laugh when I shouldn't - when people fall down, if there is some tragic event - it's just misplaced hysteria and how I manifest being uncomfortable, but it comes off that I'm a mean person. I'm not really. Not too much, anyways.)

If you are going to be around your computer, you should be able to listen to the podcast from your computer. I will be uploading it to I-tunes and doing more with it, but if you feel like listening now, you can!
